Kid Catch: Family Mangrove Fishing

Got little anglers? This trip was made for them. Trips start at 9 AM or 1 PM (no 5 AM wake-up calls), cruise the calm, protected mangrove backwaters south of Marco Island, and keep the fishing simple, fast and fun. Your captain baits the hooks, handles the fish and makes sure every kid gets plenty of rod time, whether it's their first fish or their fiftieth. Snapper, sheepshead, small snook and redfish keep the action steady, and there's always something to look at between bites: dolphins in the channels, ospreys diving, crabs scrambling up the mangrove roots, and maybe a manatee drifting by. Three hours is the sweet spot for younger kids: long enough for a real adventure, short enough that everyone comes home happy. Perfect for families with kids of any age, and grandparents are very welcome too.
